The recruitment drive focuses on building a professional workforce capable of managing sophisticated modern equipment. The required 20,094 personnel are divided into two primary categories:
* Officers (8,676 positions): Captains (Nahkoda), Chief Engineers (KKM), Fishing Masters, Mates (Mualim), and Assistant Engineers (Masinis).
* Support Crew (11,418 positions): Refrigeration Operators, Radio Operators, Oilmen, Deckhands, and Bosuns.
## General Eligibility Criteria

* Mates & Assistant Engineers: Require a valid competency certificate (SKN or 60-mile SKK) and must either possess 24 months of sea time or hold a degree/qualification equivalent to ANKAPIN/ATKAPIN Level II.
Technical and Support Roles
* Operators, Oilmen, and Bosuns: Require at least two years of relevant professional experience in their respective technical fields.
* Deckhands (Kelasi): Preference is given to those holding a valid BST-F Level II certificate and those with prior deckhand experience.
