## Job Overview: Electrical Technician
PTC is actively seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join its operational network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems within refinery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be entrusted with hands-on technical duties designed to maintain optimal facility performance. Primary responsibilities include:
* Executing seamless commissioning, system start-ups, rigorous inspections, troubleshooting procedures, and routine maintenance of electrical assets across refinery sites.
* Monitoring the operational condition and functionality of vital infrastructure, including electric motors, electrical panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, transformers, cabling systems, lighting installations, grounding networks, and associated electrical apparatus.
* Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance activities in strict adherence to assigned work orders, maintenance schedules, and standard operating procedures.
* Rapidly diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults using safe, systematic troubleshooting methodologies.
* Identifying operational abnormalities during inspections and formulating actionable recommendations for supervisors and senior engineers.
* Interpreting complex technical documentation, such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring schematics, and electrical blueprints.
* Adhering meticulously to standard operating procedures (SOP), Permit to Work protocols, Job Safety Analyses (JSA/JHA), and corporate Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) guidelines.
* Maintaining accurate logs, documentation, and status updates regarding equipment performance, maintenance history, and troubleshooting results.
## Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this technical position, applicants must meet specific professional and educational criteria set by the organization:
* Citizenship: Must be an Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
* Education: Minimum high school diploma or vocational school (SMA/SMK) background.
* Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
