We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to our commitment to engineering excellence.
## Key Responsibilities for the Production Engineer
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing workflows and ensuring that our operational standards remain at the forefront of the industry. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Production Planning: Developing detailed production and machine maintenance schedules to ensure optimal workflow.
* Operational Oversight: Monitoring and evaluating daily production activities to ensure targets are met consistently.
* Efficiency Analysis: Conducting deep-dive analyses into productivity metrics and proposing actionable programs to enhance operational performance.
* Process Documentation: Drafting, reviewing, and updating Work Instructions (WI) and defining critical production process parameters.
* Problem Solving: Addressing production bottlenecks by performing rigorous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.
* Reporting: Preparing comprehensive performance reports accompanied by strategic recommendations for process improvement.
* Compliance: Ensuring all manufacturing processes strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP), quality standards, and corporate policies.
* Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborating closely with relevant departments to facilitate seamless production cycles and proactive maintenance.
## Required Qualifications
To thrive in this position, we are looking for a professional who possesses both technical expertise and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Professional Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a production engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Standardization Knowledge: Proficient understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems.
4. Continuous Improvement: Proven experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other similar methodologies.
5. Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, production machinery, and foundational machine maintenance.
6. Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze production data, identify defects, and execute effective problem-solving strategies.
7. Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a specific focus on Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
8. Soft Skills: Strong communication capabilities, with the ability to function effectively both as an independent contributor and as part of a cross-functional team.
