## Job Vacancy: Health & Safety Officer (Permanent Employee / PKWTT)
PT JIEP is currently seeking a dedicated, highly qualified professional to join its dynamic workforce as a Health & Safety Officer under a permanent employment scheme (PKWTT).
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be entrusted with driving the organization's safety protocols and maintaining a secure working environment. Core duties include:
* Executing and documenting all Health and Safety (HSE) programs, activities, and initiatives in strict compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
* Conducting comprehensive hazard identification, risk assessments, workplace monitoring, and operational inspections to proactively prevent occupational accidents, work-related illnesses, fires, explosions, and other adverse incidents.
* Managing emergency responses and leading containment efforts in the event of workplace accidents, occupational diseases, or fires, followed by prompt corrective actions and detailed incident investigations.
* Evaluating HSE performance metrics against target realizations, drafting actionable improvement proposals, and formulating strategic action plans to elevate corporate safety standards.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to oversee statutory safety inspections (covering general occupational safety, fire extinguishers, generators, lightning rods, etc.) and generating compliance reports.
* Educating, socializing, and monitoring the implementation of Health & Safety standards across businesses operating within the industrial zone.
* Aligning departmental objectives with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the Integrated Management System, encompassing quality targets, anti-bribery policies, and occupational health and safety standards.
* Proposing continuous improvements and innovative safety developments directly to executive leadership.
## Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this critical safety role, applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety (K3) or Public Health.
* Professional Experience: At least two (2) years of proven working experience in the HSE sector.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
* Collaboration: Capable of thriving both as an independent contributor and as an effective team player.
* Work Ethic: Highly proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable executing tasks under tight deadlines.
## Essential Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must possess a specialized toolkit to successfully manage the demands of this position:
* Certifications: Mandatory possession of a General Occupational Health and Safety Expert (Ahli K3 Umum) certification issued by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
* Technical Expertise: Comprehensive proficiency in Health Safety Environment Management, including HSE Risk Assessment, HSE Risk Controlling, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, HSE Inspections, and HSE Reporting.
* Design Capabilities: Preferred familiarity with creative design and editing applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, and/or Canva.
* Language Proficiency: Working knowledge of English, demonstrated by a minimum TOEFL score of 400.
* Software Literacy: Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
